LRI512 NFC Card or Tags
The NFC technology allows accessing standard ISO/IEC 15693 products such as
STMicroelectronics Dual interface EEPROMs (M24LR04E-R, M24LR16E-R and M24LR64E-R)
and ST ISO/IEC 15693 RFID tag products (LRI1K, LRI2K, LRIS2K and LRIS64K).
The NFC forum specifies a data structure standard named NDEF allowing user data
exchange. Data can be either text, URI or picture.
RFID or NFC tag memory can embed NDEF messages and share it with different hosts
(reader, mobile phone).
This application note explains how to apply the NDEF format to STMicroelectronics ISO/IEC
15693 products (LRI1K, LRI2K, LRIS2K, LRIS64K, M24LRxx-R and M24LRxxE-R).

NXP Semiconductors has developed NTAG203 – NFC Forum Type 2 Tag compliant IC – to
be used with NFC enabled devices according to NFC Forum technical specifications (see
Ref. 9 and Ref. 10), according to NFC Forum recommendations or Proximity Coupling
Devices (PCD), according to ISO IEC 14443A. The communication layer RF
Interface) complies to parts 2 and 3 of the ISO IEC 14443A standard. The NTAG203 is
primarily designed for NFC Forum Type 2 Tag applications (i.e. Smart Advertisement,
connection handover, Bluetooth simple pairing, WiFi Protected set-up, call request, SMS,

NXP Ntag203 NFC RFID
NXP NTAG210 212 NFC Card, Tags Labels
NTAG210 and NTAG212 have been developed by NXP Semiconductors as standard NFC
tag ICs to be used in mass market applications such as retail, gaming and publishing, in
combination with NFC devices or NFC compliant Proximity Coupling Devices. NTAG210
and NTAG212 (from now on, generally called NTAG21x) are designed to fully comply to
NFC Forum Type 2 Tag (Ref. 2) and ISO/IEC14443 Type A (Ref. 1) specifications.
Target applications include Out-of-Home and print media smart advertisement, SoLoMo
applications, product authentication, NFC shelf labels, mobile companion tags.
The mechanical and electrical specifications of NTAG21x are tailored to meet the
requirements of inlay and tag manufacturers.
1.1 Contactless energy and data transfer
Communication to NTAG21x can be established only when the IC is connected to an
antenna. Form and specification of the coil is out of scope of this document.
When NTAG21x is positioned in the RF field, the high speed RF communication interface
allows the transmission of the data with a baud rate of 106 kbit/s.

NXP’s UCODE G2iL series transponder ICs offer leading-edge read range and support
industry-first features such as a Tag Tamper Alarm, Data Transfer, Digital Switch, and
advanced privacy-protection modes.
Very high chip sensitivity (18 dBm) enables longer read ranges with simple, single-port
antenna designs. When connected to a power supply, the READ as well as the WRITE
range can be boosted to a sensitivity of 27 dBm. In fashion and retail the UCODE G2iL
series improve read rates and provide for theft deterrence. For consumer electronics the
